AMD Ryzen 5000G APU specs and details just leaked online, and they're still based on Vega GPUs

Details most AMD'south Ryzen 5000G-series desktop APUs appear to have leaked online. The leaks come from Twitter user "momomo_us" and show off three different Ryzen APUs. Based on the leaks, the new APUs are based on AMD's Zen 3 architecture and use AMD's integrated Vega GPU cores.

AMD launched its Ryzen 5000-series CPUs last autumn, and also has several Ryzen 5000 Mobile processors available. The leaked Ryzen 5000G-series APUs would round out this electric current generation.

As Neowin highlights, the Ryzen 5000G APUs are likely based on AMD'south Zen 3 architecture. The lineup besides likely utilizes AMD's integrated Vega GPU cores, which appear to top out at 8 cores.

Some will be disappointed to see that these APUs utilise AMD's Vega technology, rather than moving to the company'south RDNA 2 architecture. While the Vega technology is older at this bespeak, these APUs should be able to power the best PC games.

RDNA is a substantial upgrade over Vega (GCN - Graphics Core Next), allowing AMD to extract more than operation out of the processor and permit for ray tracing and other new features. This architecture is what produced the RX 5000 series of GPUs. RDNA ii came with Xbox Series X and PlayStation five, equally well equally RX 6000 series GPUs.
